Today is the big day, the day that all Canadians have been looking forward to!
Today Canada & USA battle it out for the gold in Men’s Hockey.
Pedro who owns the marina restaurant has agreed to bring in a TV so that we can watch it live. Luckily for us about 6 Canadian boats have arrived over the last few days, all hungry for hockey!! We have been the lone Canadian boat for some time & it will be nice to have some fellow Canucks on our side.
I will bring along our video camera & hope to catch some of the excitement for the website.

There were lots of “pops” drank at Mom & Bob’s while we watched the game, I’m sure it was the same there! Dayton is a great “Couch Coach”

Way to go Canada!! Carl and I who are not sports fans actually watched the last period and the overtime. It was really quite exciting. 14 gold medals. We are proud Canadians.
