Well, not quite.. but made for a good title. For those who don’t follow our twitter feed, we’re happy to announce that our steering cable is repaired. The repair is not perfect, but it will certainly get us to Mazatlan, hell.. it would likely get us around the World.
Speaking of Mazatlan, we WILL be there soon!
We had planned to leave this week, but the weather looks like it might pickup later this week. Johanna & I both agree that we see no reason to get beat up on the crossing. So we will do our best to try & find a 3 day window that will allow us to sail across, we are never worried about the wind, but could do without the famous Sea of Cortez North seas.
We will be very busy in Mazatlan, so many projects to complete.
For now, we’re very happy calling Puerto Escondido our home, as our schedule gets further behind, we might just call it home again this year. But… I will save that for another post.
